You can catch up on all the biggest news and reveal in our Xbox/Bethesda E3 showcase roundup. In addition to Redfall, we got our first look at Starfield, Bethesda's first new IP in more than 25 years, as well as multiplayer gameplay from Halo Infinite. Microsoft showcased a ton of other games during its Xbox/Bethesda E3 2021 presentation. You can check out the first trailer for Redfall above.

Like other first-party titles, the game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. So, with the latter apparently coming soon, it is good news for both of the companies. Microsoft had acquired Bethesda a while back and had promised to release console-exclusive games, Starfield and Redfall being two of them. Redfall is slated to release exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and PC in Summer 2022. Starfield and Redfall are two important titles not only to Bethesda but also to their new owners Microsoft. Redfall is being made in collaboration with Evan Narcisse, a former game journalist and comics writer who created Rise of the Blank Panther. He said that players will clearly see where the Arkane DNA is when playing the final game. The world won't always be the same based on how you play, and exploration will be rewarded. It will still have elements of Arkane's past works, however, according to Bethesda's Pete Hines. The vampires besieging the city are the result of a scientific experiment gone awry, and you'll need to contend with various mutations-as well as human cultists supporting them.
